Norwood Food & Wine Festival | 13 Apr 2025

The best South Australian culinary experiences will feature as the Norwood Food & Wine Festival kicks new goals this April during the AFL Gather Round.

The Norwood Food & Wine Festival, an event enjoyed by so many over the years, will welcome local and visiting footy fans before and after the match at Norwood Oval. The festival will also offer an exciting atmosphere to watch AFL Gather Round games on big screens throughout the precinct.

All the fun is taking place from 11am on Sunday 13 April 2025 along The Parade, showcasing some of South Australia’s finest offerings in a dynamic, lively, and colourful manner appealing to a broad audience. A variety of Norwood bars, cafΓ©s, and restaurants will participate, alongside leading Adelaide eateries. Wineries, breweries, and craft distilleries from across South Australia will also be featured.

AFL Gather Round games will be broadcast on big screens along The Parade, inside participating venues and in a sensory area at Norwood Hoyts. Live music and other entertainment will also feature.

Birds of Tokyo

ARIA – Award-winning rock band Birds of Tokyo will take centre stage from 6pm as the major headline act at the 2025 Norwood Food and Wine Festival. Known for their anthemic sound and chart-topping hits, including Good Lord, Plans and Lanterns, Birds of Tokyo will bring an unforgettable live performance to the heart of Norwood.

Live Music Main Stage Schedule:

  • 11am–11:45am – DJ LEAH MENCEL
  • 11:45am–12:30pm – TOOCH AND THE REVUE
  • 12:30pm–12:45pm – DJ LEAH MENCEL
  • 12:45PM–1:30PM – TOOCH AND THE REVUE
  • 1:30pm–2:15pm – DJ LEAH MENCEL
  • 2:15pm–3:15pm – THE LESLEY WILLIAMS BAND
  • 3:15pm–3:30pm – DJ LEAH MENCEL
  • 3:30pm–4:30pm – THE LESLEY WILLIAMS BAND
  • 4:30pm–6:pm – DJ MANOV
  • 6:00pm–7:00pm – BIRDS OF TOKYO
  • 7pm–9:30pm – DJ MANOV

The Main Stage is located at the intersection of The Parade & George Street.  Plus there will be DJ booths located along The Parade featuring DJ Tania Smith, DJ Joyfool, DJ Evie Lucas, DJ Darce, DJ Anika, DJ Ashie, Phenumenal, and Loose Morels.

Tasting Australia Kitchen Stage

Cooking demonstrations in the Tasting Australia Kitchen are hosted by celebrity chef Callum Hann, with local culinary stars showcasing a variety of seasonal dishes.  The Tasting Australia Kitchen is located at the eastern end of The Parade.

Getting There:

Gather Round patrons attending the Norwood Food & Wine Festival can travel free on the City – Norwood bus shuttle with a valid Gather Round match ticket.

The dedicated City – Norwood shuttle will be departing from Stop AO2 stop King William Road, servicing Stop G3 Grenfell Street – northside and dropping off/picking up at Temporary Stop Osmond Terrace – west side.

Entry to the Norwood Food & Wine Festival is FREE.
