Westminster is redefining these early years with the construction of a new Preparatory Centre for Learning at its expansive Marion campus, opening in 2027.
Designed for the youngest learners, this purpose-built facility represents a significant investment in early childhood education and reflects Westminster’s long-term commitment to helping children thrive from their very first days of School. Grounded in Adventurous Education, the experience encourages students to explore, discover and build confidence through meaningful, hands-on learning.
Purpose built early years learning
The new Preparatory Centre for Learning has been designed specifically to support the needs of young children during their most formative years. The new learning facility will feature:
- Flexible, technology-enabled classrooms
- Dedicated art and STEM learning spaces
- Spacious and collaborative project areas
- Immersive outdoor environments that support wellbeing, inquiry and play
These purpose designed spaces will allow children to learn in ways that feel engaging, nurturing and age appropriate, while supporting the development of confidence, creativity and independence.

Alongside the new facilities, Westminster is undertaking a comprehensive review of its Preparatory School curriculum, ensuring learning experiences are responsive to the evolving needs of children in the early years.
