2019 Adelaide Fringe Opening Night
The summer festival season starts with a bang as the Fringe throws a fabulous party.
The summer Adelaide Fringe season always starts with a bang! This year they will throw a fabulous street party including night markets, food vendors, artist performances and the switching-on of their latest light projection project, Yabarra – Gathering of Light.
Enjoy live performances on the Main and Caravan stages from 6pm until 10pm. This event is family friendly and strictly no BYO. Bar facilities will be available.
Tindo Utpurndee (Sunset Ceremony) | 8.15 pm
Opening Night on Friday 15 February 2019 will also feature the traditional Tindo Utpurndee, or ‘Sunset Ceremony’ to recognise the living culture of the First Nations, pay respect to the spirit of the land and give thanks to elders past and present.
