Adelaide Hills Food & Fun Fest incorporating SciWorld
The SciWorld Pop Up Science Centre at the Adelaide Hills Food and Fun event will feature some incredible science shows and workshops.
Take part in a range of science-based activities and entertainment. Explore the solar system in the giant Starlab. Everyone can go inside and explore the night sky in the inflatable dome. It is a $2 entry fee with the option of purchasing a fantastic science toy gift bag as well.
Put your coding skills to the test with the Lego EV3 Mindstorm robotics workshop. From beginners to more advanced, you can let your imagination go wild and program your robot to do anything you’d like.
Have you ever wondered what neuroscientists do? Wonder no more by using the latest technology, Emotiv headsets, where you can see your brainwaves in real time. Explore the different ways the mind can trick you with educational exhibits.
Or, put your skills to the test and make some cool hands on science toys, including musical instruments, things that fly and some optical illusions at the science craft table.
Also see the Fire and Ice Liquid Nitrogen Explosive Science Show, or learn about Native Animals with the Animals Anonymous Native Animal shows and display where you can get up close with a snake or other creepy reptiles and furry friends.
