Adelaide Theatre Bushfire Appeal Fundraiser
The Adelaide Theatre Guide is calling on the theatre community of South Australia to come together and show their support for the people affected by the fires in a fundraising event.
It will be a night of entertainment for Adelaide theatre audiences – with ALL proceeds from ticket sales and online donations going to the Australian Red Cross, and further funds raised on the night going to the South Australian Country Fire Service.
The current situation of bushfires around Australia is the worst the country has ever seen, with a State of Emergency declared in NSW along with catastrophic fires burning in Victoria and our own state of South Australia. There are currently more than 140 fires burning around the country which have contributed to numerous human lives lost, 12.35 million acres of land and over 1000 properties destroyed and the deaths of almost 500 million mammals, reptiles and birds.
For audiences, this event will be a fantastic showcase of Adelaide theatre talent, with a variety of performers and acts presented, and further opportunities to donate to the cause on the night.
Tickets:
- $30 each (plus $1.25 booking fee)
100% of ticket sales (outside of booking fees) will be donated to the cause.
