Adelaide Zoo | It’s a great time to visit | Autumn 2016

Adelaide Zoo has long been a Play and Go favourite and right now is a fantastic time to visit!

We might not be quite past the possibility of 40 degree days just yet, but the weather is definitely getting a little cooler and late Summer into Autumn is a wonderful time to spend a whole day at the Zoo.

Nature’s Playground

The new Nature’s Playground is proving to be a very popular attraction at the Zoo, drawing in lots of visitors and really enhancing what was already a fabulous day out. We were lucky enough to test out the playground when it opened and loved every minute. Entry to the playground is included in your entry to the Zoo.

It’s a great day out!

The Zoo isΒ one of South Australia’s major tourist attractions andΒ aΒ must visit destination forΒ families with children of all ages.Β  Situated within a 15 minute walk of the City of Adelaide, the Zoo is located alongside the beautiful Botanic ParkΒ and gardens.Β  Young children take absolute delight inΒ visiting the zoo, their excitement when looking at and listening to animals they don’t see every dayΒ isΒ priceless.Β Β Older children areΒ able to look and learn,Β ask questions and participate in educational programs run throughout the year.Β Β Adelaide Zoo’s focus is on endangered andΒ rare animals from continents such asΒ South America, India, Africa and Australia (also South East Asia).Β  With such an importantΒ educational facilityΒ on our doorstep,Β a day at the zoo is a wonderfulΒ experienceΒ no family should miss.
