AFL Gather Round in Adelaide โ The match-ups, venues and times for Gather Round 2025 in South Australia, plus all the best family friendly events taking place.
The AFLโ s 2025 โGather Round โฆ A Festival of Footyโ will run from Thursday 10 April through to Sunday 13 April.
The 2025 Gather Round coincides with the middle weekend of school holidays in Victoria and Queensland and the first weekend of school holidays in South Australia, Western Australia and New South Wales. It will be the round of matches before Easter.
Games during the 2023 and 2024 Gather Rounds were split between Adelaide Oval and Norwood Oval in the city and Mount Barker in the Adelaide Hills. The Barossa Valley will host AFL Premiership matches for the first time in 2025, with facilities at Lyndoch Recreation Park recently upgraded.
Norwood Oval in Adelaideโs inner east is again hosting games, despite interest from other SANFL grounds, including Glenelg Oval, to host a game. Norwood will also host a food and wine festival again featuring Birds of Tokyo.
The 2024 Gather Round saw significant growth on the inaugural events, with record crowd and economic growth generated. Across the nine matches, 265,011 fans attended a game, with 33 per cent being interstate visitors.
As the official airline of the AFL and Gather Round, Virgin Australia will again be laying on extra flights to help transport fans to the event.
