The Art of Christmas LIVE hosted by Adelaide Riverbank and The Art of Christmas

Discover the Art of Christmas along the Adelaide Riverbank; the creative tree trail that winds along the banks of the River Torrens and onto the cultural boulevard North Terrace.

Twelve fabulous South Australian artists will use their creative talents and a sprinkle of Christmas magic to bring the trees to life.

Join the fun on Saturday 25 November to watch the artists transform their trees from plain structures into magnificent works of art before they go in place to create a tree-mendous trail for you to discover.

TIMES:

11.00am – 5.00pm | Artists on site weaving their magic
3.00pm – 4.00pm | Artist meet and greet

Meet the artists themselves and watch the magic unfold, but if you can’t, make sure you explore the Adelaide Riverbank over the festive season to see the trail for yourself.

The trees will be located at:

  • The Urban Beach at Pinky Flat
  • Adelaide Oval
  • Convention Centre (near the R-Bar), Riverbank Promenade
  • Adelaide Railway Station
  • Government House (outside), North Terrace
  • South Australian Museum, North Terrace
  • Bonython Hall, The University of Adelaide, North Terrace
  • Former Royal Adelaide Hospital, North Terrace
  • Adelaide Botanic Garden, in the Mediterranean Garden
  • Adelaide Zoo (main entrance, Plane Tree Drive)
