The National Motor Museum will be holding a ‘Bricks on Wheels LEGO Expo’ on the 4th and 5th of January 2014.  Visitors can come and marvel at LEGO sculptors in action, including an amazing display of hand-sculpted LEGO vehicles such as cars, trucks, bikes – you name it!  Sculptors will be on hand to answer questions and there will be lots of fun kids activities and trails for the little ones.  This is an event for both adults and kids alike – there is something for everyone.

From January 4th until the 31st there will be a LEGO competition with $1000 worth of LEGO up for grabs!  Visit the Museum and build the most creative car, truck or bike out of LEGO for the opportunity to enter this great competition. The Museum will take a photo of each entry and in early February they will notify the winners.  Some of their favourite designs will be posted on Facebook and Twitter throughout the month – keep your eyes posted you might see your amazing creation!

Each first place winner will receive a $250 LEGO voucher and their own LEGO trophy.  Honourable mentions will also receive a prize.

Categories include:

  • 4-6 years
  • 7-9 years
