Brown Falconer Interactive Architecture for Kids Online Workshop
Brown Falconer are passionate about getting architecture back into schools and talk about the value that good design brings to people, communities and our planet.
This passion helped drive the establishment of the Archi-Ed Programme which helps deliver fun and informative workshops into schools around South Australia.
Given that we are currently in the world of COVID-19, Brown Falconer decided to help out the Mums and Dads who are working from home and trying to juggle the ‘new norm’ that is home life, by running similar workshops via Zoom so that architects from Brown Falconer took the load off the parents for two afternoons a week by keeping the kids entertained while interacting and learning about design. This was the genesis of BF Zoom – Interactive Architecture, which launched 28 April this year.
They initially ran 6 x 1 hour workshops over 3 weeks with children from across the country joining in. The feedback they have received from the participants has been overwhelming. Therefore, they thought it would be a great to have another instalment of workshops which will be held during the July school holidays.
