Campbelltown City Council’s FREE Christmas Carols and Movie event will be held at Max Amber Sportsfield in Paradise.
Join the fun from 6pm at Max Amber Sportsfield for Christmas and food stalls, face painting, carols, a visit from Santa and a screening of Home Alone (PG) at sundown.
Enjoy singing along to well known Christmas carols that will be played by the Campbelltown City Band and sung by Mark Oates, a renowned Adelaide performer, best known for his work with the State Opera.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase on the night or you can bring your own picnic. The event is licensed, and no BYO is allowed. Food available on the night includes:
- Kiosk – thanks to Athelstone Football Club
- BBQ – thanks to Athelstone Cricket Club
- Hot donuts – thanks to Rotary Club of Campbelltown
- Pizza
- Coffee
- Gelato
- Dutch pancakes
- Fairy floss and popcorn
Sensory tents will be available at the event to offer a quiet, calm environment for people who might need a break from overwhelming stimuli, such as loud noises or large crowds. Two tents will be available, one suitable for small children and a larger tent suitable for an adult or adult and child. The sensory tents contain a soft blanket, fairy lights and squish mallows. Individuals are encouraged to bring their own noise-cancelling headphones and/or sensory items.
No bookings required. Parking is available on Schulze Road soccer oval.
