City of West Torrens Christmas Family Fun Day
City of West Torrens Christmas Fare will kick off on Sunday 4 December with a ‘family fun day’ full of free entertainment for families, hosted on the lawn at 35 – 37 Stirling Street, Thebarton.
Families can enjoy live music, get involved in the community art mural and make Christmas crafts. There will be plenty of fun for kids with face-painting, The Nylon Zoo, Amazing Drumming Monkeys and more.
BYO picnic or tuck into yummy local treats from Thirty Five Stirling, Brightstar Brewing or food trucks Weinerbago, Paella bar, Spinning Spuds, Tachs Stroopwafel and Taste of Paradise.
Local gym 2m2 Fitness and Self Defence will also be opening their doors with FREE games, an obstacle course and a colouring in competition for kids. There will also be a free 30 minute group fitness class (from 1.45pm) along with boxing and martial arts demonstrations.

2022 Riverbank Christmas Display
While you’re nearby, you can also visit the 2022 Riverbank Christmas Display located on the corner Adam Street & Port Road, which is within easy walking distance.

Getting there
Along with surrounding street parking, the Adelaide Entertainment Centre and Coopers Stadium are also offering 2 hour free parking on dates without events planned for the Adelaide Entertainment Centre or Coopers Stadium. Please see Adelaide Entertainment Centre and Coopers Stadium for current event schedules to avoid parking fees. The site is also accessible via public transport, including the Adelaide Entertainment tram stop (free between Adelaide city centre) and the Bowden train station (approx. 450m from the display).
