An iconic event in South Australia, each year thousands of participants run, walk, dance or wheelchair their way from the City to the Bay.
At each fun run there are always the serious athletes, but overwhelmingly the majority of people are there for the fun. There will be people dressed up supporting charities or advertising local groups and businesses, families with young children in prams and older kids running alongside their parents. As you proceed down the course of this family-friendly event, soak up the roadside entertainment and the encouragement of fellow participants or bystanders.

First time? Try the 3km
The 3km is calling all grandparents, small children, families and participants wanting to get involved but are unsure of completing the bigger distances. From the 3km you can be part of this great day – enjoy the post race entertainment, join family and friends amongst the City-Bay Fun Run Village. The 3km is not timed.
Entry Fees:
Different fees apply to each distance so register early as late registration prices apply.
- Early Entry Fees start at – $25 for 17 years & under / $35 for adults.
- Regular Entry Fees start at – $30 for 17 years & under / $40 for adults.
- Late Entry Fees start at – $40 for 17 years & under / $50 for adults.
- Family Pack Option: 2 adults and 2 kids, second kid goes free. You must create a ‘Family Team’ on the registration page for this offer.
Entry includes a race day guide, free transport to and from start and finish lines up until 2pm on the day, free water and electrolyte fluid and a participant race medal.
Children aged 3 and under can participate in a pram with no race number, provided they stay in the pram. Unfortunately due to growing numbers and insurance, running with a pram will not be allowed. This is to comply with risk management requirements. Walking with a pram is permitted.
