The beloved City of Onkaparinga Christmas Pageant will dazzle the streets of Christies Beach on Sunday 24 November.
Set yourself up along Beach Road, before 10am to watch the procession of marching bands, dance groups, sporting clubs, community groups and businesses before Santa makes his appearance. Santa will be waving to the crowd as he travels towards Rotary Park where the excitement continues with Christmas in the Park.
Pageant Participants – Applications are open:
Applications will close 9am on Monday 26 August 2024. Submit an application on the City of Onkaparinga website HERE.
Christmas in the Park:
Opening at 10am, this family-focused event continues the celebration of the holiday season with plenty for the family to do following the historic pageant. After having a photo with Santa, the kids can write him a letter and post it in Santa’s very own letterbox. Participants can stay to enjoy some of the delicious food available before kick-starting some Christmas shopping in the Christmas Market.
Road closures and parking restrictions will be in place in and around Beach Road and the Esplanade, Christies Beach, but not limited to these areas.
