Dirty Weekend 2019
An epic adventure and fun along South Australia’s finest MTB trails.
Dirty Weekend is South Australia’s only 24-hour mountain bike challenge, held at the Cudlee Creek Forest. There are 6 hour, 12 hour and 24 hour options to suit everyone. There is a 12 hour and 6 hour Youth Team category for riders aged 14 – 17 in teams of 4 riders. A supervising adult must be attending at all times. Riders aged 12 – 14 are only permitted with suitable mountain biking experience and prior approval from Event Manager.
New in 2019:
- Onsite camping available from 3pm Thursday 25 April 2019
- Take advantage of the public holiday and enjoy an extra-long weekend
- Make it a fun Friday by ripping it up on the extensive network of trails in the Fox Creek MTB park
- The Dirty Espresso 3hr E-MTB Challenge returns is presented by Bicycle Centre Mitcham on Saturday 27 April 3pm-6pm
- The Schools Challenge Trophy returns for Youth Team of 4 riders – 12 hour and 6 hour
- Plus fun activities for the kids
Start & End Times:
- 24hr Challenge: Starts 2pm Saturday
- 12hr Challenge: Starts 2pm-8pm Saturday & 8am-2pm Sunday
- 6hr Challenge: Starts 8am Sunday
- 3hr E-MTB Challenge: 3pm-6pm Saturday
- 24hr, 12hr & 6hr categories finish 2pm Sunday, presentations at 2.30pm
- 3hr E-MTB category finishes 6pm Saturday, presentations at 6.30pm
Registrations:
Registrations close Wednesday 24 April 2019 at 5pm. Late registrations accepted on event day only – $10 late fee applies (arrive early with hard copy registration form completed).
