Flinders Street Market, a small community market in the heart of Adelaide
Flinders Street Market is a small community market in the heart of the Adelaide that has been going since 1999 and was previously known as the Boat Shed Markets. In 2014 this little market undertook a revamp with a new name, new community of stall holders and new market manager Georgia Gabrielle.
The market’s mission is to facilitate new opportunities for our community, invigorate the city spaces, provide cool things for city residents to participate in, all whilst having lots of fun.
What you’ll find at the Flinders Street Market
Flinders Street Market is an ideal place to find an unusual gift that is handmade in Adelaide, have a meal or chat with a local over coffee. Shop for:

Flinders Street Market is located only a short walk from both Rundle and Hutt Streets, only a short hop, skip and jump to Victoria Square and is very easy to access via public transport. It is set up in the big rusty blue shed on Flinders Street, which has heaps of character, and is an all-weather venue.
