Free Kids Activities at IKEA these school holidays
There’s always plenty of free activities for the kids at IKEA Adelaide during the school holidays. These winter school holidays kids can enjoy free Creative Kids workshops, a Treasure Hunt, a live Cooking Demonstration – plus Playland will be open as usual.
All activities are free of charge with no booking required.
Free Creative Kids School Holiday Workshops
These will be held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday throughout the school holidays in the store entrance from 12-3pm.
Monday 10 July, Wednesday 12 July & Friday 14 July
Create a work of art from freshly-made play dough.
Monday 17 July, Wednesday 19 July & Friday 21 July
Create a straw bead necklace.
Treasure Hunt
Plus, take part in IKEA Adelaide’s Swedish Food Fact Treasure Hunt for a free kids ice-cream or serve of popcorn!
All activities are free of charge with no booking required.

Playland
As always, Playland will be open as a free, supervised play area where children who are between the ages of 3-7 years and toilet-trained are welcome to spend up to an hour. It’s a great time with a ball-pit, interactive boat house café and movie theatre and lots of fun to be had while you can go off and do your shopping!
