You can find plenty of fun and exciting things to do for FREE at the Royal Adelaide Show that will keep the kids happy and entertained without spending any extra money. There are free action-packed shows, interactive displays, animals to see, fireworks and much more all included with your entry ticket.
There is so much on offer each year at the Royal Adelaide Show. Check out these fabulous family friendly, fun and FREE things to do this year at the Show.

Check out the Kids’ Mid-Week Entertainment program featuring Bluey, Peppa Pig and George the Farmer on the Goyder Stage.
- Bluey Live Interactive Experience | Goyder Stage | Daily from 30 August – 5 September 2025 at 11am and 1pm
- Peppa Pig | Goyder Stage | Daily from 1-5 September 2025 at 3pm
- George the Farmer | Goyder Stage | Daily at 4pm

Visit the BankSA Farmyard Nursery and get up close to the adorable baby animals including lambs, goats, alpacas, and miniature horses.

For more animal fun head to the Milking Barn and have a turn at milking a cow in The Learning Centre.
Cheer on the Airtime FMX team as they jump and flip their motorbikes in the Main Arena. View the program.

Celebrating 100 Years at Wayville! Join two of South Australia’s most beloved storytellers, Keith Conlon and Leigh Radford, as they take the stage to celebrate 100 years of the Royal Adelaide Show at Wayville.
Farmyard Dash! Get ready for farmyard chaos as your favourite animal characters go head-to-head in the ultimate Farmyard Dash in the Main Arena.

Meet a superhero at the Gotham Collectables stand for a special photo opportunity. All days in the Market Bazaar.
Have a go at the Lumo Energy SA Laughing Clowns where everyone wins a prize!

Presented by Gluttony, Amazônia is a captivating dance and theatrical experience, blending Afro-Indigenous Brazilian rhythms with dynamic modern dance choreography.. All days on the Boulevard Stage.
The Buzz about Bees! Observe a fully enclosed live beehive in action, where bees continuously fly in and out to gather food from nearby flowers. Daily at 12:30pm & 2:30pm in the Learning Centre.

Nature Play Space by Climbing Tree. Check out the Climbing Tree Nature Play Space located in the Goyder Plaza where children can explore, imagine and play while visiting the Royal Adelaide Show.
Take a seat around the woodchopping arena and watch men and women chop wood with incredible accuracy and speed. Every day at 9am.
Stay for the nightly fireworks – 8pm Sunday-Thursday and 9pm Friday & Saturday.
Watch Flyball! Flyball is a relay race between two teams of four dogs. Sunday 7 Setember 2025 at 9am on the Dairy Cattle Judging Lawn.

Callum Hann Live Cooking Demo – Join Masterchef and Pick a Local, Pick SA! Ambassador Callum Hann at the Horticulture Stage for a live cooking demonstration. Friday 5 September 2025 at 12.30pm
Visit the Show Museum and take a step back in time to explore the lives of our early farmers, gardeners, cooks, creators, animal lovers and wine makers.
Mascot Games – Have you seen all your favourite South Australian iconic mascots around the grounds?

Take a photo on the Channel 9 News set and watch the bulletin presented live at 6pm.
