Meet plenty of cute farmyard animals, chase that adrenaline rush on a ride, watch jaw-dropping stunts on the Main Arena, indulge in your favourite show food and go all out on showbags!
The much loved Royal Adelaide Show is the longest-running event on SA’s calendar, showcasing the very best of South Australia with exhibition pavilions, competitions, carnival attractions and nightly fireworks. KID’S MID-WEEK ENTERTAINMENT
What’s on for the little kids? It’s a kid’s paradise on the Goyder Stage with FREE kids’ mid-week entertainment. Make the most of mid-week discount tickets because they’re bringing the ultimate kids’ entertainment extravaganza to life with a fantastic line-up that will delight children of all ages.

Octonauts present Captain Barnacles and the Octopod Rescue
- Welcome aboard the Octopod, Octo-Cadets! Join Captain Barnacles and our host Steve as they train you to become an official Octonauts and undertake a daring rescue mission!

PJ Masks Show
- Into the night to save the day! Join the PJ Masks for a Hero Training Session and learn all about what it takes to be a hero! Can you guess the team’s Super-Secret Weapon?

SHOW RIDES
The Ride Guide is where you’ll find a list of all the rides at the Show – there are over 40 every year! For the extreme thrill seekers, family friendly rides and anything in between, there’s a ride for every age group.
New Show Rides in 2026:
- Warrior – Towering 55 metres high, Warrior launches riders into the sky at blistering speeds, flipping, spinning, and unleashing adrenaline in every direction (extreme)
- Zero Gravity – A high energy, bounce and blast ride throws you into a whirlwind of airtime, speed, and chaotic fun (thrills)
- VOID – Once it launches, you’re thrown into never before seen ride patterns in Australia, delivering a totally fresh, unpredictable thrill (extreme)
- Lunarix – Triple-spinning madness launches 16 fearless riders into gravity-defying flips, spinning a full 360° (extreme)
- Cruisin’ Kombi – Jump aboard your bright, beachy Kombi as it spins, rocks and whips you around in a playful, wave riding journey (family)

SHOW FOOD & DRINKS
New additions each year alongside your Show favourites such as Dagwood Dogs, curly chips on a stick, Rotary donuts, pretzels, cheese toasties, and more. Food guide is released each year around mid August.

SHOWBAGS
Showbags are always popular at The Show and there’s always something for everyone with chocolates, lollies, AFL, Bluey, Marvel Avengers, Beanie Kids, Care Bears and many other popular theme bags on offer. Some of the popular ones do sell out quickly so don’t wait too long to shop for the ones you want. The guide will be released mid August.

COMPETITIONS
Competitions are a big part of the Show and they keep going from strength to strength. Make sure you check out some of the winning entries on display (we love to see all the cake decorating) or soak up the excitement of the judging ring when you’re at the Show.

FIREWORKS
The Southern Lights Spectacular presented by Drakes Supermarkets is a nightly fireworks display – a fabulous way to end a fun filled day at the Show. Watch them from the Main Arena from 7.45pm (8.45pm Friday and Saturday nights). The 30-minute firework show will feature lights, drones and pyrotechnics, setting the sky alight every night of the Show.

This is one for the thrill seekers! Purchase 100 ride tokens for $80 or 40 ride tokens for $35. Each token has a face value of $1 and can be redeemed at any ride and most games.

Make sure you swap your carnival pass for ride tokens at the Carnival Pass Exchange, located inside the Kidman Gate. Discount Carnival Passes are available for pre-purchase only.
