Henley Beach Clean Up | Sea Shepherd Marine Debris Campaign

136 Kilos! – That’s the estimated weight of single-use-plastic items that every man, woman and child will consume in one year.

Alarming isn’t it? Our addiction to plastic is killing our oceans, the planet and ultimately ourselves.

What can you do about it? Join the Sea Shepard’s next clean-up and be part of a team that will stop tens if not hundreds of kilos of rubbish from poisoning the ocean and killing marine-life. A few hours of your time can save countless lives.

Join in and help #StemtheTide of plastic pollution.

Meeting Point – Henley Beach, down from Seaview Rd at the Ozone Street end.

Please be sun smart, wear a hat and some sun block, as well as wear closed-in shoes for your own safety. Also, if you have any please bring reusable gloves and tongs.

Bring some water in a re-usable container – no single use items at this event please.

Everyone is welcome.
