Last summer, Adelaide discovered the joys of the night market, transforming North Terrace on Sunday nights into a garden filled with street food from around the world, gifts, jewellery, live music and much more. Now, Adelaide Night Market returns for a second season, on the last Sunday of each month starting on 27 October 2013.
The Night Market is a place to eat, play, relax and linger – the perfect way to finish a day in the city after shopping in the mall or a visit to the art gallery, museums or libraries. Soak up the colours and flavours and tickle your taste buds, meet up with friends or bring the kids – fun for all the family!
“The Adelaide Night Market is a joy… It’s a market with abiding cheer and good spirit and will surely develop into our best since the excellent Orange Lane Market was closed in Norwood.” – Peter Goers
A lively, vibrant, exciting market featuring the flavours of the world – some of the best hawker food that the city has to offer, alongside an array of artisan, clothing, jewellery, cultural goods and local gourmet produce. This amazing night market is right in the heart of the city, with easy access by foot, car, bike or public transport.
The market opens from 4pm until 8pm, except for March 30th 5pm until 9pm and May 25th will be an afternoon market from 12pm until 6pm.
