Here Comes The Sun – Aldinga Sunflower Spiral Garden
Plant a seed and watch it grow in Aldinga’s Sunflower Spiral Garden.
At Aldinga’s sunflower spiral garden family planting event you can plant your seeds in the spiral and pot some to take home, collect a sunflower growing competition kit and join the sunflower story time and craft. The Aldinga Sunflower project is aimed at promoting the Aldinga Town Square and Central Way while nurturing a community garden and facilitating learning about planting and pollination.

Sunflower Growing Competition:
- Pick up your kit
- Plant your sunflower seed at the Here Comes the Sun event
- Take it home and watch it grow and grow and grow
- Measure your sunflower and its growth on your growing chart
- 12 weeks later, email your growing chart tosustainable@onkaparinga.sa.gov.au along with a photo of you next to your sunflower for the chance to win one of two awesome prizes up to the value of $50
- Prizes for the tallest and the happiest sunflower.
