Friday 8 March 2013
We got a little sneak peek of some of what’s in store for us this year at WOMADelaide.
Macnas ‘The Boy Explorer’
We got our first look of The Boy Explorer, who is a gallant eight year old boy – who happens to be five metres high – on a quest for adventure, in pursuit of a beautiful and rare butterfly.
Ireland’s most prolific street art company presents eye-catching spectacles on a grand scale. It’s a walkabout event to excite, ignite and invite the child within us all to come out to play.
Macnas delighted the 200 children from schools around Adelaide today.
Taste the World
The Taste the World program which involves many celebrity chefs, also includes kid’s cooking workshops.
Chef Rosa Matto from SA Life gave these students a taste of the kid’s cooking workshops today, teaching them how to make their own pizzas, including pizza dough from scratch.
