Woodhouse Adventure Park’s School Holidays UNPLUGGED kids only ‘drop & go’ day camps offer thoughtfully programmed adventures specifically designed with age-appropriate activities guaranteed to keep primary school kids aged 5 to 12 screen-free, active and entertained for the whole day… just 10 minutes up the South Eastern freeway on a magnificent 54-hectare nature wonderland at Piccadilly in the Adelaide Hills.
As always, this season of UNPLUGGED (running weekdays 15 to 26 April excluding ANZAC Day) features creative themes and loads of fun outdoor adventures. The kids will be enjoying outdoor laser skirmish and ‘wheelies’ (think mountain scooters, mountain boards and billy carts!). They’ll journey through time for Prehistoric Playground, Medieval Mayhem and 1980s Retro Rewind. There will be plenty of sporting fun at the Woodhouse Olympics, with loads to learn on the Reptile Rendezvous day. Days of sensory discovery (Come to Your Senses) and airborne adventures (Sky High) round out the program.
There really is something for every kind of kid … from nature lovers and arty types through to sports fans and adrenaline seekers! Plus every day includes time on Challenge Hill obstacle course and a private Tube Slide session (weather permitting).
JUST $75 PER DAY (Scout Members save 20%) covers programmed activities and full facilitation (1:9 staff to child ratio) from 9am to 5pm.
School Holidays UNPLUGGED Themes:
Every day includes time on Challenge Hill obstacle course (with different sections and twists each day) and a private Tube Slide session (weather permitting).
- Monday 15 April – Ultimate Woodhouse – From outdoor laser skirmish and bouldering, to creek crossings and The Labyrinth giant maze… take iconic Woodhouse adventures to the next level!
- Tuesday 16 April – Reptile Rendezvous – A wild journey into a world of reptilian fun, with crocodile games and challenges… packed with chomping, slithering, scaly adventure!
- Wednesday 17 April – Medieval Mayhem – Embark on quests, compete in tournaments and play medieval games… with a little bit of dragon magic thrown in for good measure!
- Thursday 18 April – Sky High – From paper plane launchers to bottle rockets and catapults… if you can launch it and fly it the kids will be trying it on this day of soaring adventure!
- Friday 19 April – 1980s Retro Rewind – Discover the best of the eighties… from funky music and games at the disco, to an aerobics challenge and dress-up relay.
- Monday 22 April – Woodhouse Olympics – Run, hurdle, climb, ride and shoot your way through an action-packed day as the Woodhouse team puts twists on your favourite Olympic events.
- Tuesday 23 April – Prehistoric Playground – Journey back through time to prehistoric periods for cave-dweller challenges and games… plus fun with dinosaurs and volcanoes.
- Wednesday 24 April – Come to Your Senses – Explore, engage, and awaken your senses through challenges, games and hands-on fun. A day of sensory exploration and discovery!
- Friday 26th April – Adrenaline Rush – Do you have a need for speed, a call for adventure, and energy to burn? This is the day for you! Includes outdoor laser skirmish.
