Miravale Central Park Playground | Angle Vale | Review

Miravale Central Park Playground in Angle Vale is a gorgeous landscaped park with nature play, a pump track and play equipment.

Review by Claire Davill

This central park in a newly developed area of Angle Vale is full of landscaped gardens and packed with playground features. In addition to the playground, you’ll find a cute little pump track suitable for little bike riders, a basketball court, and lots of nature play features.

The main piece of playground equipment has two towers connected by a rope bridge. One tower sits on a soft fall mound, creating slopes with stepping stones and a climbing rope.

The towers contain a twisty slide, regular slide, climbing wall with rope, and plenty of ladders and climbing nets.

Nearby is a large, low to the ground climbing net and a basket swing, surrounded by plenty of stepping logs.

There’s also a basket ball court with hoop, four square and a hopscotch.

A little pump track winds through the gardens, with camber turns and gentle slopes, perfect for little kids who are learning to ride.

There’s plenty of nature play features through the landscaped gardens, with lots of logs, stumps and stepping stones to explore.

There’s also a small area with exercise equipment for the adults, with sit-up platform, bench press, chin up bars and dip bars.

There is a picnic shelter, barbeques, drinking fountain and large open area of lawn in the park as well. There is a toilet nearby at the Miravale sales centre building in the park.

Things to Consider:

  • The park and playground is not fenced, so keep an eye on little ones. The streets surrounding the park are very quiet.
  • There’s some natural shade in the park, especially around the playground, but the nature play areas and basketball court are unshaded
  • Take bikes or scooters for the small pump track, and a basketball for the court

Our favourite nearby coffee spots/cafes:

  • Angle Vale shopping centre is a 2 minute drive away with cafes, a supermarket, and a takeaway.

Location:

Saverio Bvd, Angle Vale (Enter off of Heaslip Road)
