Moonlight Cinema, Australia’s favourite outdoor cinema, will be returning for its 30th summer season in Adelaide.
Moonlight Cinema is returning to Adelaide Botanic Park under the stars from 21 November 2025. Tickets are now on sale for Moonlight Cinema’s November/December 2025 program. The program includes two weeks of Christmas favourites, plus family flicks for the school holidays and new releases such as Wicked: For Good and Eternity.
VIEW THE NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 2025 PROGRAM
To celebrate its 30th season, Moonlight Cinema is encouraging audiences to vote for which of their favourite nostalgic films should return to the big screen this season. The top-voted titles will feature in The People’s Program from January to March.
Voting is via moonlight.com.au with classics like Shrek, Dirty Dancing, The Castle and Jurassic Park up for the running.
The January and February program will be announced later in the year.

Adelaide’s Moonlight Cinema is located at Botanic Park (adjacent to Adelaide Botanic Garden), Hackney Road, Adelaide. Enter Botanic Park via Plane Tree Drive. SEE MAP HERE
Food & Drinks
You can buy dinner at their on-site food trucks and grab a drink at the licensed bar, plus all the classic movie snacks and drinks will be available from the candy bar. You can also take along your own picnic – they allow BYO.
Please note Moonlight Venues are CASHLESS. Please make sure to bring along your credit card, debit card or gift card to purchase food and beverage or bean beds on site.
Dog Friendly
Moonlight Cinema venues love to see happy pooches enjoy their beautiful park. Dogs are welcome in all sections including the premium areas; Gold Grass and the Connoisseur Lounge.
Please just take note of a few house rules: If a dog is brought into the venue it must be kept on a short leash (2m or under) at all times. The owner is required to respect the park as well as other patrons by picking up after the dog and keeping it quiet during the film. Please bring a drinking container and plenty of water for your dog.
