The Mt Barker Science Fair is a mix of family favourites and brand new attractions to delight and engage all ages. Watch an amazing chemistry show by Nitro Nat, laugh at Marty McBubble’s incredible Bubble Show and learn about the quirky native animals from Animals Anonymous. Plus get your groove on with some fabulous dinosaur entertainment from Professor Flint. And yes, there will be slimeβ¦ and VR.

Highlights
Crazy Colourful Chemistry Show
There’s plenty of bang, colour and fizz in this show. Nitro Nat loves to set things on fire and make lots of mess, all in the name of science of course.
Native Animal Show
South Australia’s very own wildlife warriors, are on stage along with a collection of their animal friends. Learn about these animals, their habitats and how to protect them.
Dinosaurs Down Under with Professor Flint
Singing palaeontologist Professor Flint will keep the young uns enthralled with his slightly unorthodox but fabulously entertaining teachings about dinosaurs.
Scientific Bubble Show with Marty McBubble
Marty McBubble will amaze you with his incredible bubble creations and the scientific wonders that make them possible. With quirky gadgets and plenty of comedy Marty will create some truely crazy bubble creations.
Robotic by Roboroos
If your child loves robotics, spend some time with the Roboroos. It’s a must! Check out their designs and learn about their competition teams. They do crazily clever robotics designed to excite young minds.
Electron Microscopes
The kids will be captivated when they see the unseen world around us with these powerful electron microscopes. The world class equipment will inspire learners to seek out even more.

This is dinosaur craft at its finest. Assemble giant wooden bones to make the largest dinosaurs puzzles ever (or at least in Adelaide). Then get really crafty and create your best dinosaurs on card.

Entry to event
To ensure the event is COVID-safe, entry to this event is by a pre-purchased ticket only. Tickets will not be available at the door. Only 1000 tickets are available for each session. On the upside, this gives your plenty of room to view the exhibits.
