National Parks SA Park of the Month for July 2020 – Morialta & Black Hill Conservation Park
Each month National Parks and Wildlife Service SA celebrate a national park as their Park of the Month. They invite you to go along and join in on a range of fun, family-friendly events held throughout the month. Events often include ranger-guided walks, working bees, guided bike tours, nature play activities, cultural events and more.
Morialta & Black Hill Conservation Park are positioned side by side with a single road separating the two. Enjoy the rugged ridges, gully scenery and seasonal waterfalls that make up Morialta Conservation Park, the three waterfalls along Fourth Creek are popular features of the park and are linked by an extensive network of walking trails. The views from the rock climbing zone also provide opportunities to admire Morialta Gorge and the nearby Adelaide plains.

If you can’t make it to Morialta and Black Hill Conservation Park this month you can still enjoy the beauty of this spectacular park wherever you are. The park rangers teamed up with Google to capture the parks walking trails, campgrounds and roads using a Google Street View Trekker.
Google Street View gives you the opportunity to see what Morialta and Black Hill Conservation Park has to offer and the available facilities before you go. This is an especially great tool if you have accessibility needs, are visiting with people of varying ages or fitness levels or are pushing a pram and want to view a trail before leaving home.
