Picnic in the Park – a relaxed, family-friendly day at Tanunda Recreation Park during the AFL Festival of Footy.
Watch the AFL – Richmond vs Fremantle Dockers – live from Barossa Park on a huge screen. Create your perfect picnic with delicious local food and drinks from Barossa producers, makers, and artisans.
Take along your own picnic rug, chairs, or unwind in the boho-style seating provided for a laid-back vibe. With a large kids’ zone featuring footy activities, live music, and a Barossa Makers & Beyond Market around the oval, it’s the perfect way to spend the day with the whole family.
This event follows the Barossa Food & Wine Village the previous day, Saturday 12 April 2025.
