Experience the magic of South Australia’s most loved event, the Royal Adelaide Show! Each year this is where the city meets the country, creating unforgettable experiences and lifelong family memories. Meet plenty of cute farmyard animals, chase that adrenaline rush on a ride, watch jaw-dropping stunts on the Main Arena, indulge in your favourite show food and go all out on showbags!
The much loved Royal Adelaide Show is the longest-running event on SA’s calendar, showcasing the very best of South Australia with exhibition pavilions, competitions, carnival attractions and nightly fireworks. Check out all the family friendly highlights below and plan your day out with family and friends.

KID’S MID-WEEK ENTERTAINMENT
What’s on for the little kids? It’s a kid’s paradise on the Goyder Stage with kids’ mid-week entertainment now extending to Monday to Friday. Make the most of mid-week discount tickets because they’re bringing the ultimate kids’ entertainment extravaganza to life with a fantastic line-up that will delight children of all ages.
Bluey is back!
Bluey and her little sister Bingo are heading to the Royal Adelaide Show! Find your favourite heeler duo on the Goyder Stage every day at 12pm from Monday, 2 September until Friday 6 September 2024.
Kangaroo Beach
Surf’s up on the Goyder Stage! Pounce and Neville are hitting the Royal Adelaide Show shore on Monday 2 September until Friday 6 September 2024. Make the most of the discounted midweek ticket and hang ten with the crew from Kangaroo Beach!
Step into Dirtgirlworld
Dirtgirl and Scrapboy take the stage in the Grubby Bucket Show, a hands on adventure packed with surprises. Enjoy as they dig through their grubby bucket uncovering a mix of songs, games and gritty fun.
SHOW RIDES
The Ride Guide is where you’ll find a list of all the rides at the Show! For the extreme thrill seekers, family friendly rides and anything in between, there’s a ride for every age group.
We’re excited that a second Ferris Wheel will be there this year (not the one pictured below). It sits at 35 metres tall and has fully enclosed gondolas which provide access for wheelchairs and those with additional needs.

SHOW FOOD & DRINKS
Here is a sneak peek at some of the mouth watering new additions alongside your Show favourites this year. Of course all the old favourites will also be there – Dagwood Dogs, curly chips on a stick, Rotary donuts, pretzels, cheese toasties, and more.
One Sneaky Cheetah
Fresh wood oven pizza with locally sourced ingredients. Catering for gourmet or classic pizza lovers, it’s a guaranteed feast fit for a beast.
Gang Gang Snack Bar
Gang Gang will be expanding their famous burger menu to a snack bar showcasing their new range of hoagie rolls as well as other snack favourites.
Sooki La La
You can’t go wrong with authentically Asian Bao Buns, whether you are a meat lover or vegetarian, Sooki La La have you covered.
Life Lemonade
Life Lemonade’s first appearance at the Show. Fun flavoured freshly squeezed lemonade. From raspberries to blueberries and everything in between.
Shibui Dessert Bar
SA’s Shibui Dessert Bar will be making an appearance at this year’s Show. Delivering local favourites like their famous mochi donuts and soft serve ice-cream.
Astonish Souffle Pancakes
Asian inspired fluffy souffle pancakes. So light and delicious, you will be tempted to go back for more. Make it your own by choosing your favourite topping; from banana caramel to Biscoff.

SHOWBAGS
Showbags are always popular at The Show and there’s always something for everyone with chocolates, lollies, AFL, Bluey, Marvel Avengers, Beanie Kids, Care Bears and many other popular theme bags on offer. Some of the popular ones do sell out quickly so don’t wait too long to shop for the ones you want.
COMPETITIONS
Competitions are a big part of the Show and they keep going from strength to strength. Make sure you check out some of the winning entries on display (we love to see all the cake decorating) or soak up the excitement of the judging ring when you’re at the Show.

FIREWORKS
Nightly fireworks are a fabulous way to end a fun filled day at the Show. Watch them from the Main Arena.

You can purchase your tickets at theshow.com.au or from Foodland, from 1 August 2024.
Midweek tickets are $16.50 for ages 5-15 years and $27 for 15 and over. Kids under 5 are FREE.
Weekend tickets are $20.50 for ages 5-15 years and $33 for 15 and over. Kids under 5 are FREE.

DISCOUNT CARNIVAL PASS
This is one for the thrill seekers! Purchase 100 ride tokens for $80 or 40 ride tokens for $35. Each token has a face value of $1 and can be redeemed at any ride and most games.
Make sure you swap your carnival pass for ride tokens at the Carnival Pass Exchange, located inside the Kidman Gate. Discount Carnival Passes are available for pre-purchase only.
