Adelaide Zoo’s Variety Children’s Zoo opened in September 2019 and is an amazing play space for kids filled with interactive areas that allow them to get closer than ever to some of the zoo’s most popular residents.
Built with the help of the South Australian community and Variety Australia, the children’s charity, the Variety Children’s Zoo is the first stop on your Adelaide Zoo adventure and a must-visit for a no-brainer, fun-filled family day out.
Complete with areas for children of all abilities to play and explore, the Variety Children’s Zoo features climbing and balancing equipment for the charismatic goats, climbing branches for the friendly quokkas and a dedicated presentation area for keepers to share stories about their animal friends.
Located next to Adelaide Zoo’s ever-popular Nature’s Playground and connected via aerial walkways catering for all abilities, the Variety Children’s Zoo is set to be the first stop for families during their visit to Adelaide Zoo.
