Big Steps for Little Treasures
In its 14th year, Walk for Prems will take place in Adelaide at Peace Park as well as in eight other locations across Australia during the month of October.
Walk for Prems 2023 is proudly presented by Baby Bunting and is the largest annual fundraiser by Life’s Little Treasures Foundation, Australia’s foremost charity dedicated to supporting the families of babies born sick or premature. The walk has raised 3.8 million dollars since its inception, and this year the Life’s Little Treasures Foundation hopes to raise $500,000.
As a family-friendly event, there’s something for all ages – music, rides, food trucks, and children’s entertainment. This year, participants will also be able to choose to walk virtually instead, anytime and anywhere they like in October.
Walk Distance:
The Adelaide walk is 3.5km long, however you can turn back at any time.

- 9:30am | Event commences
- 10:25am | Remembrance Ceremony
- 10:30am | Walk start
- 11:45 am | BYO Picnic and join other families while the kids enjoy the children’s entertainment
- 1:30 pm | Close
Charity:
Life’s Little Treasures Foundation receives all proceeds, after expenses to continue supporting families of premature and sick babies. The Life’s Little Treasures Foundation is a charity that provides support, understanding, information and assistance throughout Australia to families of children born prematurely or sick. Their services are available in the hospital (neonatal intensive and special care units) and the community when families go home.
The Foundation receives no government funding and is solely reliant on public donations with 100% of all fundraising going to the Life’s Little Treasures Foundation, who also organise the event through their staff and volunteers.
