World Chimpanzee Day | Monarto Safari Park | 14 Jul 2024

Celebrate World Chimpanzee Day with the troop at Monarto Safari Park on Sunday 14 July.

Did you know that we share approximately 98.7% of the same DNA with Chimpanzees? Like us, these incredible creatures show a range of emotions like hugging for comfort and smiling or laughing when happy.

Sadly, this species is highly endangered with as little as 350,000 Chimpanzees remaining in the wild.

You can help support this amazing animal by spending the day with the beautiful troop of twelve at Monarto Safari Park. And with the tiniest members of the troop, little Hope and Happy, as curious and playful as ever, it’s an incredibly special time to visit.
