Saturday on Oxford: Unley Vintage FairOn Saturday 5 November 2016 Oxford Terrace will be closed off for Unley Libraries’ birthday celebrations. Join the community for a vintage fair, demonstrations and performances. It is Unley Libraries’ 50th birthday and they are going to celebrate with style.
On the street at the Unley Vintage Fair/Street Party:
Tintype Traveller mobile darkroom photography • vintage caravan • vintage ambulance • old fashioned games • vintage craft stalls • tea cup merry-go-round • vintage car display • stationary engine display • Old MacDonald farm • roaming performers • Cool Cones ice cream truck • La Scala Café pizza • penny farthing riders • balloon artist • blacksmithing demonstrations • free face painting
Oxford Terrace Stage:
11 – 11.15am Charleston dancing by Swing Out Adelaide
11.30 – 11.45am The Mayor of Unley cuts the birthday cake
11.45am – 12.30pm Boomstars (interactive show for kids)
12.30 – 12.45pm Lindy Hop dancing by Swing Out Adelaide
1 – 2pm Preston’s Historic Punch and Judy puppet theatre
2 – 2.15pm Rock‘n’Roll dancing by Adelaide Rock‘n’Roll Club
2.45 – 4pm ‘Adelaide the Songs’ (2016 Fringe Performance)
Plus the Glad All Over Band playing on the street throughout the day.
