ABC Gardeners’ Market Adelaide
Celebrate your garden with the ABC Gardeners’ Market from 8am to 1pm on Saturday 12 October 2019 in the ABC studio car park.
The market, now in its 28th year, is known for its huge selection of affordable, rare and essential gardening goodies but also for its delicious international food and family entertainment; gardening advice, live radio shows and free ABC studio tours.
From 8:30am, join ABC Radio Adelaide Saturday Breakfast presenter Deb Tribe alongside Jon Lamb with Talkback Gardening, ‘About the House’ with Rose Squire & the Saturday Quiz.
Entry is by gold coin donation with all proceeds collected supporting charity partner CanTeen Australia’s ‘The Stronger Me Program’. It is an interactive health and well-being program with 20 CanTeen members who have been impacted by cancer (18-25 year olds). The program is made up of 6 sessions, each a duration of 2 ½ hours. The program incorporates 3 main elements to improve well-being, which include: movement, mindset, nutrition and cooking.
Tours:
The free tours of the ABC studios start at 9am and go every 15 minutes with the last one starting at 11:15am. The tours last 1 hour, but they fill up fast – if you plan to go on a tour, it is recommended you sign up early on the day. The ABC Tours Stand will be on the east side the ABC Gardeners’ Market.
