Adelaide Shorebirds Festival Sunday 30 October 2016
Celebrate the arrival of thousands of migratory shorebirds to the Adelaide International Bird Sanctuary by going along to the second annual Adelaide Shorebirds Festival this October.
The festival welcomes back shorebirds that travel thousands of kilometres across the world to Adelaide’s northern beaches each spring.
Learn about these international migratory birds, including the Eastern Curlew, and their flight path to Adelaide. Hear about the environment in Adelaide’s north, the habitat that supports the birds, and enjoy the many festivities and family friendly activities on offer all for free.
