Find an Indoor Play Cafe or Family Entertainment Venue in Adelaide
Rainy days. Scorching hot days. There are times when it’s just not practical to play outside, but kids need somewhere to burn off energy without running around the living room!
Play centres, play cafes and indoor activity centres are perfect for keeping kids entertained. Most also have areas suited to babies, toddlers and young children, whilst others are aimed at tweens and teens.
Most play cafes also provide free WIFI these days so they’re a great place to get some work done too while your children are happily playing (if you don’t mind a bit of noise). We’ve had plenty of Play & Go work meetings at a play cafe!
Play & Go tips for enjoying indoor play cafes:
❤️ Generally play cafes are quieter on week days when older kids are at school, while on the weekends they can be very busy with birthday parties.
❤️ School holidays are also a particularly busy time for most cafes. It’s best to plan your visits accordingly.
❤️ While some kids don’t mind the lively (and sometimes crazy!!) atmosphere of lots of kids running around during busy periods, if your child is sensitive to noise and mayhem, it’s best to avoid a busy time. Most parents have learnt to just talk louder when kids are playing, but if you are sensitive to a noisy atmosphere too, avoid these places, or go when it’s quieter.
