ANZAC Day Street Party – Union Hotel
50 years on, the country’s oldest ANZAC Day street celebration and the ultimate event to commemorate the ANZAC Day spirit is happening in Adelaide.
Thanks to event host, Union Hotel, food, drinks and entertainment will fill Waymouth Street on Thursday 25 April 2019 and part proceeds support Legacy Foundation supporting the families of veterans. Boutique beers, local SA wine and food by Little Adelaide Catering, Union Hotel kitchen and the annual Legacy Foundation BBQ will be available, all serving up street-style food.
The day will begin at 10am and is FREE to attend. In ANZAC spirit, celebrate the service of Australian men and women.
Union Hotel’s, Piers Schmidt said, “This is such a memorable day and a highlight to my year. We create a place where families, friends and old veterans can come together to remember and honor those who served.”
To fuel the street party atmosphere, live music will be played throughout the day, including favourites; Cornsey’s Allstars (with Graham Cornes), the Salt & Pepper Swing Band, SA Pipes & Drums as well as the Mt Barker Pipes and Drums.
