Macca’s Footy Festival | Elder Park Adelaide | 4-7 April 2024

Located at Elder Park, the 2024 Macca’s Footy Festival will feature the popular 150m long zipline over The River Torrens as part of the AFL’s Gather Round festivities.

The four-day festival will be full of free activities and entertainment for all ages, including some of South Australia’s best local vendors, food trucks and licensed bars, while the popular 150m long zip line over The River Torrens will return for another year.

The AFL has announced longstanding partner McDonald’s Australia as the official naming rights partner which will see Macca’s deliver several fan activations across the festival, including the world’s first Macca’s Fry Thru offering Macca’s Fries and Chicken McNuggets, enjoy a barista-made hot or iced coffee from the McCafe Cart (with all proceeds going to Ronald McDonald House Charities SA) or get your free personalised AFL Captain Card at the Macca’s Captain Card photobooth. There will also be Giant Golden Arches swings, and a limited number of free mini Macca’s Sherrins given out each day.

Macca’s Footy Festival Zipline

The zipline across the River Torrens will take you from the Macca’s Footy Festival at Elder Park, over the River Torrens and finishing on the foot bridge across from Adelaide Oval. Participants will be required to walk back over the footbridge to return to the start point and collect their belongings (5-10 minutes walk). If you know someone who is not participating in the activity, they recommend they take your belongings and meet you at the landing platform. This way you can go straight to the Adelaide Oval and watch the game!

This is a FREE experience with limited spots available and they expect it to be booked out.

Maximum 2 adult and 2 under 16 tickets per booking. Read the FAQs for more information.
