Camp KickStart – Clothing Donations Needed for Kids in Need.

KickStart For Kids (KSFK) is running their Camp KickStart April School Holiday program and are calling on donations for NEW clothing, pyjamas, socks and underwear to ensure the children attending the camp are keeping warm in the cooler months.

KSFK’s dedicated team of volunteers provides children aged five to thirteen with the opportunity to have fun in the holidays.  Their team provides transport to and from home with a number of excursions and a range of exciting activities to enjoy, including arts and crafts, bouncy castles, sports and bike riding, cooking classes and more.

ITEMS NEEDED:

  • Boys underwear – Size 8-10, 10-12, 12-14
  • Unisex socks – Size 9-12, 13-3, 2-8
  • Girls and boys shoes – Size 1,2,3,4,5
  • Girls windcheater or hoodies – Size 12, 14, 16
  • Boys windcheater or hoodies – Size 10, 12, 14, 16
  • Girls T’s – Size 10, 12, 14, 16
  • Boys T’s – Size 10, 12, 14, 16
  • Girls and boys track pants – Size S/M, S/W, 8,10,12,14,16

These do not have to be expensive and can cost as little as $3 from Kmart, Big W, Best & Less and Target.

Every school holidays over 300 kids attend the camps across five South Australian locations. They provide kids with transport to and from home and excursions with food, books, clothes and fun things to do as well as partnering them with a mentor for extra support and self-esteem building.

Items can be donated to the KickStart for Kids headquarters – 87 James Melrose Road, Novar Gardens.
