Picnic with a Princess at Carclew Castle
Enter a world where fairytales come to life as Once Upon A Princess cordially invite you to “Picnic With A Princess” at heritage listed Carclew Castle in North Adelaide.
Built in the 1800’s, the grand castle is as old as time – just like a real fairytale! Fairytales and history come together for a magical day with the Royal Princesses.
Carclew’s sprawling estate features sweeping gardens and lawns spanning over three sides of the grounds. Take a step back in time through the historic residence, where tall palms line the paved courtyards, and where children will marvel at the picturesque fairytale tower. Pack a picnic basket and rug, enjoy the day outdoors whilst children explore the house and grounds.
The picnic with an Easter twist, will include dancing, singing, meet and greet photo opportunity with all your favourite Princesses – Cinderella, Rapunzel, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, the popular Snow Sisters, Arabian Princess, Island Princess, Dancing Beauty, Little Mermaid and the Frog Princess.
Alice In Wonderland will not be late to the picnic date, she knows where to find the Royal Easter Bunny who lives in the vegetable patch. Children can take part in the Easter Egg hunt with prizes for the “Golden Eggs”.
The gorgeous Royal Unicorn Ponies will also make an appearance – imagine your child’s excitement when you capture the moment they meet a real Unicorn, a memory that will last a lifetime!
With Fairy Belle sprinkling her glitter fairy dust by the magical wishing tree, and the Fairy Godmother granting wishes, children will be swept into a world of fairytale magic at the royal affair.
Refreshments and grazing snacks will be served throughout the day. Children are encouraged to wear their Princess best, and each will receive a gift to remember their visit to the Royal Castle.
Ticket numbers are limited so children have enough time to enjoy their experience with the characters and activities throughout the day.
The event will run for approximately one and a half hours.
