The Mother’s Day Classic is an annual fun run and walk raising funds and awareness for breast cancer research.
Their aim is to deliver a fun, healthy and inspirational community event that brings the community together on Mother’s Day to support and remember those touched by breast cancer.
Adelaide’s 2025 event will be held in Pinky Flat on the bank of the River Torrens, bordered by Adelaide Oval. Participants can choose to walk or run a distance of 4km or 7km. There are also official events in Gawler and Mount Gambier.
Participants can also experience the buzz of the event village, entertainment, music, and food stalls to enjoy throughout the day. Make sure you head to the Kids Zone for some face painting, watch a balloon artist create awesome shapes, and keep a lookout for some Disney characters roaming around the village. Life Be In It will be running some fun activities for the kids to keep them active throughout the morning.
This event is wheelchair and pram friendly (dogs are not allowed).
Embrace & Honour:
If you have been touched by breast or ovarian cancer, join an ‘Embrace & Honour’ time, when participants will reflect on the strength of the MDC community (formerly named Stronger Together).

Children under 3 are free and do not require registration.
