The October long weekend (for Labour Day on Monday 5 October 2026) coincides with the middle of the South Australian school holidays so there’s plenty on offer for families to enjoy. You can make the most of the longer days too with the start of daylight savings on Sunday 4 October 2026 (clocks move forward one hour).
