Grab your free storybook “The Tale Trail” on entry to the Adelaide Zoo and let your imagination run wild these school holidays. Embark on a storytelling adventure and get up close with some of the zoo’s main characters including Giant Pandas, roaring tigers and the Meerkat mob!
Spend the day creating your very own animal tales and join Adelaide author Karen Jones Hauser for a captivating storybook reading.

Open every day of the school holidays 9:30am – 5pm.
Home to over 2500 animals and 250 species with daily free keeper presentations, a day out at the Zoo is fun for the whole family. Remember, littlies under four years of age can enter the Zoo for free!
Free Flight Bird Show
11.30am daily on the Central Lawn
Throw out a picnic rug and get the whole family involved in this exciting presentation as a range of species like the Barking Owl and Blue and Gold Macaw soar over your heads.

Get within a whisker and upgrade your visit with an animal experience!
