Victor Harbor New Year’s Eve celebrations on Warland Reserve features family friendly early fireworks at 9:45pm, followed by a midnight fireworks spectacular!
Warland Reserve, Victor Harbor, will host their biggest night of the year on New Year’s Eve. Starting from 7:30pm, there will be plenty of fun family entertainment for all ages, including free face painting, petting zoo, and roving performers.
Live Performance Program:
- 7:30pm Sing Along with Jimmy
- 8:30pm Sunday Brunch
- 9:45pm Children’s Fireworks
- 10pm Sunday Brunch
- 11pm Xploder
- Midnight Fireworks Spectacular
Entertainment:
- Major sponsor Girdler Family Amusements will be operating all day from 10am until 12am
- Mini golf
- Free face painting
- Free petting zoo
- Roving performers
Food and Beverages (non-alcoholic) will be available on the night from the following places:
- Causeway Plaza: Causeway Cafe, Seaside Fish and Chips, Harborview Donuts and Strawberries Galore
Warland Reserve: Klaus’s Hot Dogs.
Meals are also available from surrounding venues Hotel Victor, Crown Hotel, JF&C, Nino’s and Victa Pizza Express.
Dry Zone
Warland Reserve and the town centre of Victor Harbor is a Dry Zone from 3pm on 31 December to 9am on 1 January.
Road Closures and Security
Road closures and security guards will be in place around the event site for safety of visitors. For further information on road closures please visit www.victor.sa.gov.au/roadclosures
Parking
Limited parking options are available immediately surrounding the event, with road closures in place for the event. Recommended parking locations are at the Woolworths Victor Central Shopping Centre, Stuart Street, McKinlay Street.
Public Transport
Taxi Services will be in HIGH demand on New Year’s Eve, and they recommend you plan your transport to and from the event in advance to ensure safe passage home.
Steamranger Heritage Railway, South Australia Steamranger Cockle Trains run from Goolwa – Middleton – Port Elliot to Victor Harbor.
- Train departs Goolwa for Victor Harbor at 8.30pm
- Return train departs Victor Harbor for Goolwa at 12.30am
- Bookings available on 1300 655 991 (Mon-Sat) 9am to 5pm or at Goolwa, Pt Elliot and Victor Harbor on operating days.
- Tickets will be available from Goolwa station from 7.30pm on the day
Public bus services are limited in Victor Harbor and it is recommended you seek alternative transport options.
