Parking options for the Adelaide Central Market
UPark Central Market is easily accessible from both Gouger and Grote Street and is open 24/7. Located directly above the Market, parking fees apply and various rates are payable at different times. The first hour is free parking during Market trading hours using City of Adelaide’s UPark Plus technology (see details below).
They offer three hours free parking on Saturdays at UPark Grote & UPark Andrew (offer not available at UPark Central Market). If you park at UPark Andrew or UPark Grote on Saturdays between 7am and 3pm simple take a ticket on entry and validate your ticket at the Market Stall in the Central Market before 3pm to receive 3 hours free. If you stay over 3 hours, simply pay the flat fee of $8 and stay as long as you want.

UPark Central Market
From Thursday 1 July 2021 UPark Central Market started offering first hour free parking during Market trading hours to Market shoppers who have signed up for a UPark Plus card. From this date, first hour parking became $2 for non-card holders.
The Adelaide Central Market hopes to maximise the number of car parks available during trading hours, while continuing to provide first hour free parking for their Market shoppers. UPark Plus at UPark Central Market is open to all Market shoppers and it’s free to join online anytime.
