Easy Christmas Grazing Platter Inspiration.
If you need to take a plate to a Christmas gathering, the wreath platter is an easy option but has all the festive vibe. The options are endless and you can choose a variety of sweet and savoury treats to suit all tastes.
Once you have chosen a platter, a large plate or timber board to use, place rosemary all along the outside edge for a touch of greenery.
Next, just layer your favourite treats in a circle shape, including red lollies, cherries, raspberries, pretzels and biscuits (I’ve also included Tiny Teddies, raspberry bullets, apricot coconut balls, chocolate freckles). For a chocolate theme you can include Mars Bar Slice, some Christmas chocolates, red Lindt balls or anything you like as in the image below.
When transporting this platter, the trick is to use aluminium foil instead of cling wrap. Put a long piece down, place the platter in the middle and wrap it up the sides and over the top (not too tight). Then put another piece over the top covering the other direction to enclose it, tucking it underneath the platter.
Another tip – place it on the floor of the boot in a container or box, otherwise someone needs to hold it on their lap while in the car.
