Christmas in Adelaide | Top Things to Do and See

Christmas time brings a sense of wonder and excitement to little people as the big day draws near. We’ve put together a list of things to do and see and places to go around Adelaide that are sure to bring a smile to everyone’s faces. Escape the rush and spend some quality time with family and friends enjoying all the exciting things happening in and around Adelaide.

GIANT CHRISTMAS TREE – VICTORIA SQUARE

Head into the city via the tram, train or park in the Adelaide Central Market carpark and watch a 15 minute light display on the Giant Christmas Tree in Victoria Square. Plus there are fun, free activities happening in the square for the kids, including a fabulous miniature train ride that the whole family can enjoy. There’s also the fun water fountain that the kids love to run through.  Find out more about the Giant Christmas Tree and Fun in the Square here

Also just down the road the Adelaide Town Hall is also lit up with an illumination show.

Christmas magic has certainly come to Victoria Square with so much fun for families. The miniature train ride around the giant tree is like the ones you ride at SASMEE Millswood so children and adults can enjoy it (footage coming soon). Meanwhile, see these kids having an absolute ball in the water fountain? This is why we suggest you bring spare clothes and a towel 😂🎄💕
