New Playgrounds & Playground Upgrades in Adelaide
Adelaide families have already seen some incredible new playgrounds open in 2025 & 2026, with even more exciting playgrounds and playspaces opening soon across Adelaide and South Australia.
From giant adventure towers and huge slides to flying foxes, pump tracks, ninja obstacles and nature play spaces, the newest Adelaide playgrounds are packed with fun features for toddlers, older kids and teens alike.
Many of the new playgrounds in Adelaide that have already opened include all-abilities equipment, accessible swings, climbing nets, sensory play, sand play, and shaded picnic areas, making them fantastic family-friendly destinations for weekends, birthday parties, and school holiday adventures.
There are also several highly anticipated Adelaide playgrounds opening soon, with councils continuing to invest in modern nature playgrounds, inclusive play spaces and adventure playgrounds designed to encourage kids to climb, explore, balance and play outdoors.
