Looking for things to do with toddlers in Adelaide? From playgrounds and indoor play centres to animal encounters, libraries, museums, swimming, nature play and toddler-friendly attractions, there are plenty of fun places to explore with little ones around Adelaide and South Australia.
Whether you’re looking for a free toddler activity, somewhere to go on a rainy day, a new playground to discover or an easy family day out, we’ve put together some of our favourite Adelaide activities for toddlers and preschoolers.
Many of the places below have been visited, tried and tested by the Play & Go team and our families, with ideas for different ages, interests and budgets.
You can also keep an eye out for toddler-friendly shows and live performances in Adelaide by Windmill Theatre and Patch Theatre, plus The Wiggles and the Play School Concerts, which present performances created especially for younger audiences.
